Through its strong relationship with the government, the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines is able to support member companies by facilitating market access and working on the creation of a level playing field for both European and Filipino companies alike.
The ECCP's 23 sector committees convene to discuss cross-cutting and specific issues, listing key recommendations on actions needed to support market access for European businesses, and enable long-term economic welfare for the Philippines. Below are our advocacy wins in 2021.

“ECCP has an extensive network both in the private and public sectors, in the Philippines and abroad. Its strong network and reputable platform have allowed the Firm to participate in fruitful and effective discussions with stakeholders, legislators and regulators on various economic and business issues. ECCP’s trainings and events have also allowed the Firm to stay up-to-date with business and industry trends and innovations in the Philippines and across the globe, allowing the Firm to be at the forefront of the dynamic and ever-changing Philippine business landscape.“
“This global pandemic has gravely affected the rhythm of daily business, but the ECCP never missed a step. It quickly adapted to the new normal, strengthening its networks with constant and open communication and bringing service to where it is needed. As the Chair of the ECCP North Luzon Business Council, we do our best in extending the same level of service from our office in Clark to ECCP members in North Luzon. Without a doubt, the ECCP continuously fulfills the promise of being the chamber of choice.“
“As a global company based in the UK, being a member of a well-known chamber is a good start. It compliments your reputation and credibility and it also helps in making connections with local and multinational companies in the Philippines. The ECCP has extended more than that, from the steady access of information and policies, industry trends, to the most relevant issues. The ECCP has provided an avenue for opportunities and partnership. We are a proud member of the ECCP and we continue to stay true to our commitment in protecting people and enhancing lives with the help of partners like them.“
“We pride ourselves in claiming Publicus Asia, Inc. as the first, and probably still is the only registered lobbying firm in the Philippines. We need to be always abreast with issues and national policy directions. ECCP provides a venue to elevate economic and political discourses clinically. ECCP is not only responsive, but even anticipates its membership’s needs. Most importantly, ECCP offers a respite that maintains a steady flow of positive energies that is easily contagious --a much-needed reserve to keep us on course to recovery and be confident in meeting new realities.“
“We continue to support ECCP apart from being member for many years now, as it helps us to increase our visibility, generating referrals and leading to new opportunities. I am confident that ECCP is a great avenue for quality networking and Building a long term relationship. Let us not forget that most of the strongest friendships started from networking in the business world. ECCP keeps you informed and updated, regularly providing the latest information’s, like highlighting upcoming legal requirements or technological advancements.“
“Our membership with the ECCP has been a rewarding experience for our organization given their relevant and timely programs and conferences for its members. We have gained a lot from our attendance of the conferences and webinars, giving us a different perspective on the way business is being done here and overseas. Our involvement in the Agricultural Advocacy Committee of the ECCP has provided us with valuable insights on the challenges and opportunities in strengthening the commodity value chains in agricultural communities.“
