ABOUT US

We bridge markets and create opportunities for European and Philippine businesses.

Founded in 1978, the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) is a multilateral chamber with close to 900 members and a strong presence across key regions in the Philippines. We advocate for fair and forward-looking economic policies, support market access through expert business consultancy and human capital development, and connect members to a dynamic network of stakeholders locally and abroad to drive growth and foster collaboration across sectors.

OUR POLICY AND ADVOCACY WORK

We shape policies and advocate for reforms that enable fair, sustainable, and competitive markets.

Through regular dialogues with government agencies and the release of timely position papers and whitebooks, we influence key policies and reforms that enhance the ease of doing business and drive regulatory improvements. The Chamber’s 24 sector committees, led by private sector leaders, provide a platform for members to collaborate, address industry-specific challenges, and ensure that the voice of the European-Philippine business community is heard in decisions shaping the economic landscape.

TESTIMONIALS

What our Members have to say.

Sarah Mcleod

Q2 HR Solutions

As a long time member of the ECCP when the COVID-19 lockdown began, it was challenging for us all to even think about how our membership would help us. Over the ensuing weeks, I began to rely on the regular updates about what was happening, trusting that the team had done their research. We used the data shared from the research team to assist us in making good business decisions and conversations with the teams in our company. Sharing the latest industry updates with our clients, in turn, helped them.

Sheila Lobien

Lobien Realty Group

It has been a productive, impactful and fun ride with ECCP the past 12 years. It was very challenging but productive to chair the ECCP Women in Business Committee. We made a mark by highlighting that women in business are more than ready to continue demanding more seats, space and voice at the table. The founding of Lobien Realty Group is my best personal example. The impact is noticeable by the growing number of participants in this Committee. ECCP and the WBC have become an avenue for women members to learn from each other, seek mentors and friends, network with other women business leaders.

Atty. Kenneth Tamala

Southern Block Law/BNTB Law (Bacal Namalata Tamala Bidad)

The ECCP has provided us with relevant actionable information that made a huge difference in our ability to effectively continue serving our clients here in Northern Mindanao and Mindanao. The pandemic has brought to the fore a unique set of problems and concerns that severely hampered many corporate entities in Mindanao and Region 10. The timely information provided by the ECCP and its members on the many and different aspects of the pandemic has further enabled our law firm to assist our corporate and business clients navigate, respond to, and face, this public health emergency.

Gabriel D. Medina

Asian Bridge Express Inc.

I would like to express my unwavering support to all the policies, trainings and advocacies that the ECCP is aiming to successfully achieve; the goal to continuously be a platform of ideas, ideals, and where like-minded individuals and organizations can meet, collaborate and grow. Through the non-stop trainings, seminars and meetings where we discuss, tackle and hopefully find solutions to the problems that we, as a global community, are facing no matter what industry or walk of life. I have no doubt that being part of this community is an asset that my company and I value.

Michael Kurt Raeuber

Royal Cargo, Inc.

We have been with the ECCP for almost 20 years, given the ECCP's professional approach to commercial and political matters. The ECCP has unmatched reach, historically-developed relationships, and experience. Upgrading to a premium membership is an investment into the ECCP’s advocacy prowess and assurance to be heard by the government, due to the ECCP’s well-developed relationships. Our membership facilitated joint advocacies shared and expanded not only through the ECCP, Integrity Initiative, and JFC, but other European chambers as well, opening doors to harvesting opportunities in differentiating our services.

Jed T. Estanislao

Eastern Telecommunications Philippines

During these challenging times, being a member of the ECCP has allowed Eastern Communications to connect with its members through each of our respective digital platforms. With the help of the ECCP, Eastern Communications was able to reach different industries and share insights on how to adapt to the ever-changing business landscape. Upgrading from entry-level membership to premium membership gave us access to more channels and more collaboration opportunities, which helped us effectively reach ECCP member companies and build strong connections.
