Euro chamber says PH poised to keep trade perks from EU

MANILA -- A team from the European Union was in Manila recently and based on indications, the bloc was unlikely to withdraw perks for Philippine exports, a trade group head said Wednesday.

Negotiations for a free trade agreement between Manila and Brussels will likely resume by spring, or early 2019, said European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines president Guenter Taus.
