Mindanao-European Economic Forum

26 November 2026 | 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
Seda Abreeza

As the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) continues to champion stronger economic ties between Europe and the Philippines, it remains committed to promoting regional growth and inclusive development beyond the country's main business hubs. Recognizing Mindanao's growing importance in driving national progress, ECCP is extending its initiatives to the region through a dedicated platform for dialogue and collaboration.

In line with ECCP's commitment to fostering inclusive and sustainable economic growth, the Chamber will convene the Mindanao–European Economic Forum (MIN-EU EF). This platform will facilitate meaningful dialogue, knowledge exchange, and business networking to bridge European companies with Mindanao stakeholders and government representatives. Mindanao, recognized as one of the country's fastest-growing regions, offers significant opportunities across various sectors such as agribusiness, renewable energy, ICT, infrastructure, and sustainable development. Set on 26 November 2026 at Seda Abreeza, Davao City, the forum aims to strengthen public–private dialogue, address barriers to doing business, and identify areas for sustainable and inclusive growth.

The forum will also emphasize emerging priorities in the global and regional economic agenda, particularly climate-smart agriculture, circular economy practices, and renewable energy investments, which are integral to ensuring long-term, resilient, and inclusive development in Mindanao. Through MIN–EU EF, ECCP seeks to deepen Mindanao–Europe economic linkages, highlight investment-ready sectors, and reaffirm its role as a catalyst for advancing trade, cooperation, and sustainable development across the Philippines.
