The PHILIPPINE NICKEL INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION, INC. (PNIA) is a non-stock, non-profit organization incorporated in 2012 by nickel mining companies with operations in Zambales, Palawan, and CARAGA region. PNIA was established to strengthen the role of the nickel mining industry as a driver of inclusive, responsible and sustainable economic growth in the Philippines and most especially in the local regions where they operate. In collaboration with national and local stakeholders, PNIA also works to synergize the development, reforestation, rehabilitation, and various community empowerment programs of its members to make it more inclusive, progressive and impactful. PNIA members deliver beyond compliance to show its profound commitment to responsible and sustainable mining, and to uplift lives in the communities they serve.
