Tamayo – a CPA-Lawyer with over 29 years of solid experience providing professional services to top local and multinational clients. He previously served as tax partner at SyCip Gorres, Velayo &a Co. (SGV), a member firm of Ernst & Young Global. Mark is professor of law and a regular Mandatory Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) lecturer. He currently Chairs the Customs Committee of the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP). He extensively participated in the drafting of Republic Act (RA) No. 9135 which amended certain provisions of the 1978 Tariff and Customs Code of the Philippines (TCCP). He was also involved in the drafting of RA 10863, otherwise known as the Customs Modernization Tariff Act (CTMA). Mark is a recipient of various international awards and recognition, including, among others, – “2016 Asia Tax Practice Leader of the Year” by the International Tax Review; and one of the foremost “Recognized Indirect Tax Leaders in the Philippines” for several consecutive years. Atty. Gerardo Maximo V. Francisco – A founding partner of Mata-Perez, Tamayo & Francisco. He is a member of the Philippine bar (1996) and the New York State bar (2004). Gary specializes and actively works and advises on a broad range of corporate, tax, and regulatory matters and has counseled local and multinational companies.
