CENTER FOR INTERNATIONAL TRADE EXPOSITIONS AND MISSIONS

CITEM is the export promotion authority of the Philippine government attached to the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI). Since its inception in 1983, CITEM has been relentlessly helping shape the country’s image as a premier sourcing destination for quality export products and services. It continues to set the highest standards of creativity, excellence, and innovation to achieve competitiveness in the home decor, furniture and furnishings, holiday and gifts, fashion, food; the creative sector, such as animation, game development, communication design, music, and performing arts; sustainability, electronics, IT-based sectors, and health information management services. CITEM is able to effectively develop, nurture, and promote micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), brands, creatives, and manufacturers across industries through an integrated and innovative approach to promotion and robust partnerships with the private and public sectors here and abroad.Further enhancing the core capabilities of CITEM toward effectively fulfilling its commitment to its stakeholders and the public is the signing of Philippine Executive Order (EO) 75 in November 2024 by President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. This landmark directive signifies more expansive channels of inter-agency support, reach, and network assets toward building stronger partnerships and upholding CITEM’s key thrust of global trade promotions for the growth and development of the nation’s social and economic builders– Filipino talent, products, and enterprises.
