In recent years, the Philippines' agricultural sector has made numerous efforts to maximize the growth potentials of bamboo. If properly utilized, these high-value crops are an appealing green product alternative in local commercial and industrial spheres given its durable quality, product versatility, and crop growth sustainability. In its harvested form, bamboo can be used as a good construction material or commercial product that can catch the attention of the Philippine market.

With this, ECCP Cagayan de Oro/Northern Mindanao branch is conducting a webinar called the "Untapped Green Sector: Opportunities in the Bamboo Industry II" on June 14, 2020 from 01:30 PM – 03:00 PM with Asec. Joan Lagunda of DENR, as our Guest Speaker. Now that the government is again making strides in strengthening the promotion of the local bamboo industry in 2020, the opportunity to be a part of a nationally prioritized agricultural industry is not something businesses want to miss.
