Czech Republic ranks 32nd out of 141 countries in terms of competitiveness, making the country attractive for starting businesses. With the improvements in policies on attracting businesses, the country had managed to decrease its unemployment rate by 5%. There is an estimate of 1.025 million SMEs in Czech Republic which signifies diverse options for investment. Aside from its economic and industry background, Czech Republic ranks 27 on the human development index which assures a long and healthy lifestyle, being well educated, and has a decent standard of living.

The European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines in partnership with the Embassy of Czech Republic, is organizing the 3rd series of Live, Work, and Invest in Europe.
