The COVID-19 pandemic has severely affected the global exhibitions and trade fairs business. According to the Global Association of the Exhibition industry:

  • Global exhibition business was estimated to have declined by 60% in 2020 compared to 2019
  • €158 billion (USD 180 billion) of total output and 1.9 million jobs affected in exhibition and tourism-related activities
  • €260 billion (USD 296 billion) of contracts between exhibition participants not generated

As the global situation of the Covid-19 pandemic improves and as the vaccination programs worldwide progress, trade fair organizers are getting ready to welcome the arrival of international trade show exhibitors and visitors. New protocols have been set up to ensure the health and safety conditions of the fair grounds.

Join us on June 21, 2021 from 10:00 AM – 12:00NN, as we hear from representatives of trade fair organizers discuss how they are addressing the Covid-19 challenges and how they are progressing with their preparations for the re-opening of exhibitions worldwide. Be prepared for emerging opportunities as we work together to plan our renewed participation in international trade shows.
