The COVID-19 pandemic is not only a public health crisis, it is also an economic one. However, one thing remains certain - with the efforts of its Local Government, Davao City has continuously maintained its status as one of the best investment opportunities in southern Philippines. This year, city officials continue to seek opportunities that will boost and contribute to the development of the local economy.

The European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines, in collaboration with the Davao City Investment Promotion Center, aims to support the city in promoting its investment opportunities to ECCP members, business oweners, and potential investors through quarterly events. As the largest local economy in Mindanao, Davao City offers its vast land areas, its abundance of resources, and a highly-skilled workforce open to investment opportunities. Investing in Davao City will open the door to a favorable business climate — vast land area for growth and development, abundant supply of raw materials, affordable power and utility rates and highly-skilled workforce — which will assure healthy returns for future investors.

"NOW (New Opportunities Waiting) in Davao City" will focus on promoting the various investment opportunities in the different booming industries of Davao City; giving support to businesses by assembling a coalition of potential investors, and increasing awareness of the potential of the city as a wise investment destination

For the first installment of "NOW in Davao City," join us on February 26, 2021, from 2:00PM to 3:30PM to get more insights on further investment opportunities for the development of the Agribusiness and the Tourism & Recreational Facilities Industries in Davao City.
