As Mindanao continues to grow as a hub for investment, innovation, and inclusive development, higher education institutions (HEIs) play a vital role in preparing learners for an increasingly interconnected and evolving world. Beyond academic competencies, there is a growing need to provide opportunities for industry exposure, international engagement, cultural exchange, and learning beyond the classroom.

The Mindanao EduConnect Forum: Building Future-Ready Global Learning brings together the academe, industry, government, tourism, and institutional partners to explore emerging opportunities and strengthen collaboration across the education ecosystem. Discussions will cover areas such as industry-academe alignment, internationalization, educational mobility, innovation, and Edu-Tourism, including the potential of educational travel, cultural immersion, and experiential learning to enrich student experiences and broaden global perspectives.

By bringing these perspectives together, the forum aims to explore how Mindanao can create more connected and meaningful learning opportunities while strengthening its position as a destination for education, cultural exchange, and knowledge sharing. It also seeks to encourage partnerships that connect learners with industries, communities, institutions, cultures, and global networks beyond the traditional classroom.

Through meaningful dialogue and strategic partnerships, the forum aims to contribute to a globally connected, industry-responsive, and future-ready education ecosystem for Mindanao, while opening new pathways for learning, collaboration, and regional development.

The Mindanao EduConnect Forum aims to:

• Facilitate dialogue among the academe, industry, government, tourism, and institutional stakeholders.
• Discuss emerging priorities in education, including industry–academe alignment, employability, internationalization, and future-ready skills.
• Explore learning beyond the classroom, including educational mobility, cultural exchange, industry immersion, and Edu-Tourism.
• Foster partnerships in curriculum development, internships, research, international engagement, and talent development.
• Strengthen ECCP's education advocacy by connecting academic institutions with industry and other key stakeholders.
