Bamboo: The Business of Beautiful Spaces is a two-hour virtual forum that explores bamboo not only as a sustainable material, but as a growing opportunity at the intersection of architecture, design, innovation, and business.

The session will feature Architect Jed de Guzman, with the possibility of an additional guest speaker, to share perspectives on how bamboo can be used to create distinctive, functional, and environmentally responsible spaces while also opening opportunities for enterprise, local value creation, and market development.

Designed for architects, designers, developers, entrepreneurs, business leaders, sustainability advocates, and professionals interested in the built environment, the discussion will look at the practical and commercial potential of bamboo—from design applications and material considerations to consumer appeal, sustainability value, and business viability.

The program will also highlight how thoughtfully designed bamboo spaces can respond to evolving market demand for experiences and environments that are both visually compelling and environmentally conscious.

The two-hour Zoom session will include approximately 90–100 minutes of presentation and discussion, followed by 20–30 minutes of open Q&A, giving participants the opportunity to engage directly with the speaker/s and explore practical questions on design, implementation, and commercial opportunities.
