This course provides a foundational understanding of Google Gemini, a multimodal generative AI system capable of processing text, images, code, and more. Participants will explore how Gemini fits within the broader Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) ecosystem, and how it can be applied to improve productivity, creativity, and decision- making in business environments.

The session introduces key concepts such as:

  • Generative AI fundamentals and LLMs
  • Gemini capabilities and integration within Google tools
  • Prompt engineering basics
  • Real-world business use cases
  • Ethical and responsible AI usage

Gemini is designed to help users write, summarize, analyze, and brainstorm more effectively across workflows, making it a key tool for modern digital productivity.

  • Integration with Google ecosystem (Docs, Gmail, Sheets, etc.)

Module 3: Practical Use Cases and Demonstrations

Writing & content generation

  • Summarization and knowledge extraction
  • Brainstorming and ideation
  • Data interpretation (basic)
  • Workflow automation examples
  • Live demo or guided exercises

Module 4: Prompt Engineering Fundamentals What is prompting?

  • Good vs poor prompts
  • Prompt frameworks:
    • Role + Task + Context
    • Iterative prompting
  • Prompting for different use cases:
    • Emails, reports, analysis
  • Hands-on prompt practice

Module 5: Responsible AI and Limitations AI risks: hallucination, bias, misinformation

  • Data privacy and governance considerations
  • Human-in-the-loop validation
  • Ethical use of AI in business

Participants will be able to receive their unique links sent via ZOOM/ECCP 1-2 days before the scheduled session.
