Melodies of a Heroic Nation: A Concert of Ukrainian Music
The European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP), in partnership with the Embassy of Ukraine in the Philippines and Official Embassy Partner Curtis Go, presents "Melodies of a Heroic Nation: A Concert for a Cause" featuring renowned Ukrainian pianist Dr. Taras Filenko.
This concert is dedicated to the thousands of Ukrainian children displaced and abducted by war — a poignant reminder that resilience is not only about rebuilding cities, but also protecting a nation's future generations.
Dr. Filenko will deliver a moving performance blending Ukrainian compositions, poetry, and storytelling, accompanied by an exhibition on Ukraine's UNESCO World Heritage Sites, a curated dinner, and a cultural showcase.
Proceeds will benefit the Olena Zelenska Foundation's Humanitarian Aid Project, supporting large foster families affected by the war.
The following day, Dr. Filenko will also hold a special lecture on Ukraine's musical heritage, exploring the power of art, memory, and identity in times of conflict.
