Mindanao-European Economic Roundtable Discussion
As the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) continues to champion stronger economic ties between Europe and the Philippines, it remains committed to promoting regional growth and inclusive development beyond the country's main business hubs. Recognizing Mindanao's growing importance in driving national progress, ECCP is extending its initiatives to the region through a dedicated platform for dialogue and collaboration.
The Mindanao–European Economic Roundtable Discussion (MIN–EU ECORD) is a strategic event that will bring together European investors, business leaders, government representatives, and local stakeholders to discuss Mindanao's economic potential and explore opportunities for partnership and investment. Set on 17 November 2025 at Seda Abreeza, Davao City, the roundtable aims to strengthen public–private dialogue, address barriers to doing business, and identify areas for sustainable and inclusive growth.
Mindanao stands out as one of the Philippines' fastest-growing regions, driven by key sectors such as agribusiness, infrastructure, ICT, and tourism. The region's fertile lands and expanding agri-value chains continue to attract investments in climate-smart agriculture and food processing, while infrastructure development—spanning transport, logistics, and energy—supports greater connectivity and competitiveness. Meanwhile, emerging opportunities in renewable energy, digital innovation, and circular economy practices are paving the way for a more resilient and future-ready Mindanao.
Through MIN–EU ECORD, ECCP seeks to deepen Mindanao–Europe economic linkages, highlight investment-ready sectors, and reaffirm its role as a catalyst for advancing trade, cooperation, and sustainable development across the Philippines.
