The world of work is constantly transforming and ushering in trends to remain relevant in an increasingly complex global environment. With the rapid changes brought about by numerous factors, organisations are being faced with a growing demand to enhance their human resource (HR) management in order to future-proof their talent, protect its workforce, and meet the needs of both the organisation and its human capital.

In relation to this and as we continue to grapple with multiple global crises and uncertainties, it is also imperative for individuals to learn measures that will better manage their finances, encompassing budgeting, investing, saving, and tax planning, among others.

With this, the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) and its Human Capital Committee, in collaboration with Lee Hecht Harrison, InCorp Corporate Services Philippines, Inc., and SGV & Co. is organising a 3-hr learning session which aims to achieve the following:

  • equip attendees with a comprehensive understanding of the HR processes from hiring to firing while emphasising the importance of effective people management and compliance with legal requirements
  • share practical knowledge and valuable insights to enhance their HR skills and contribute to the overall success of their organisations
  • provide insights on taxes and personal financial management

The session will also feature the following topics:

  • HR 101: Hiring to Firing - An Essential Guide for Effective Human Resource Management
  • Personal Finance Planning
  • Taxation of Employee Benefits and Separation Pay due to Retrenchment/Redundancy/Retirement
