ECCP Football Cup draws record 50 teams

With a record 50 corporate teams ex­pected to compete, the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) will hold the eighth installment of its annual football cup at the Alabang Country Club in Muntinlupa.  Scheduled this Sunday, April 28, the one­day competition is being organized in partnership with former Azkals football player Armand Del Rosario and will feature the men's and mixed team divisions.

Using the 7­aside aside format, the competition will be divided into four groups playing a single round robin format with the top teams advancing to the semifinal round.

Playing for 20 minutes in each game, the tournament will award three points for the winner, one point for a tie, and zero points for the losing team.

This year's edition is being supported by Curves, Milo, Mizuno, Royal Cargo, Del Monte, Gold's Gym, Healthcare Advantage Training Institute, Nurture Spa, and Perskindol.
