Last week Mindanao was struck by a typhoon - Pablo (Bopha). The death toll is at over 1,000 people due to flash floods in New Bataan, Compostela Valley and in Davao Oriental. More than 1M families or almost 5.5M people have been severely affected, in 243 towns and 35 cities in 30 provinces. As a result almost 200,000.00 people are staying in 182 evacuation centers at the moment.

In view of the gravity of the situation, the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) is organizing a relief operation in partnership with F2 Global Logistics, Inc. and with the Davao Chamber of Commerce who will be distributing the goods locally.

The goods that we are hoping to collect are as follows:

  1. temporary shelter like tents;
  2. candles or gaseras
  3. cooking utensils
  4. packaged food
  5. water and other drinks
  6. medicine
  7. clothes

In this time of the year, let us find in our hearts the compassion to share our blessings with the victims in Mindanao. You may drop-off your donations to this address:
