Pag-IBIG, Others Sign Integrity Pledge

State-run Pag-IBIG Fund has joined leading companies in a nationwide anti-corruption campaign that shuns dishonest and fraudulent business practices.
 
Pag-IBIG Chief Executive Officer, Darlene Marie B. Berberabe has signed the Integrity Pledge, an anti-corruption pact initiated by the Makati Business Club (MBC), the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP), and other business groups.
 
As a signatory, Pag-IBIG Fund pledges to combat graft uphold ethical standards, promote transparency, punish erring employees of all ranks and deal only with reputable entities in procurement activities.
 
Berberabe represented Pag-IBIG Board Chairman Vice President Jejomar C. Binay in signing the agreement. 
 
“It’s easy to tag the government as corrupt. As the leader of the home mortgage market, we can’t afford to not have the trust of our members and other partners. I have signed the Integrity Pledge to show our enduring commitment to honesty in all our transactions,” said Berberabe.
