The Assistant Cebu Branch Officer is expected to assist in the following areas:
Membership
Recruitment of new members
Database maintenance
Assist member companies and clients through email or telephone
Maintain and develop existing business partnerships with LGU’s, potential member companies, and European consular offices in Cebu
Maintain current members of the Chamber by formulating membership retention activities
Represent ECCP in social and networking events
Events Management
Organize quarterly Membership Meetings
Organize Sector Advocacy Events
Take part in organizing Joint Foreign Chamber annual event: Southern Mindanao Industrial Tour
Publications
Write articles/press releases/circulars for use in ECCP website and publications
Administrative
Inventory and requisition of supplies
Renewal and/or processing of business permit and/or other legal applications and documents
Preparations and completion of accounting concerns
Qualifications
Living within Cebu Province and willing to work both online and face to face;
A graduate of public relations, business management, or any other relevant area of study. This position is open to fresh graduates (one to two years experience is an advantage)
Self-starter. Should be sufficiently motivated to initiate strategies and carry out the job responsibilities
Solution-oriented and should possess strong analytical skills
Should possess strong customer service skills and people orientation
Actively seeks new ways of working to improve efficiency and productivity
With experience in member acquisition and event management is preferred
Must have working knowledge in MS Word, Excel, Google Docs, and Spreadsheet.
