With speakers from the Department of Energy, Department of Public Works and Highways, as well as industry representatives, the ECCP-PE2 Energy Smart Forum on Promoting Energy Conserving Building Designs last 27 October highlighted the importance of material sustainability and the future of green buildings in the Philippines. Also discussed at this event were updates on the Guidelines on Energy Conserving Design for Buildings and the Guidelines for Endorsement of Energy Efficiency Projects to the Board of Investments to Avail of Fiscal Incentives, as well as available technologies that will help maximize performance and safety in buildings.

This Forum is co-organized with the Philippine Energy Efficiency Alliance (PE2) and co-presented by ABB Incorporated and the EU-Access to Sustainable Energy Programme (EU-ASEP).
