The European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines - Southern Mindanao conducted its 1st Business Council Meeting 2020 last 6 February 2020 at 6F, Regus, Felcris Centrale, Quimpo Boulevard, Davao City. Industry updates were presented by the members of the council highlighting topics such as the effect of Coronavirus in the Tourism Sector, Food Safety, and Ease of Doing Business in Davao City among others. 

Mr. Florian Gottein, Executive Director of ECCP, presented brief information about the advocacy updates and several meetings with the Philippine government. On the other hand, Mr. Antonio Peralta, ECCP-SMBC Chairman presented the operational highlights of ECCP Davao and discussed the upcoming major events for this year, including the BARMM Investment Conference on March 2020, 4th ECCP Golf Challenge Mindanao, and Logistics Conference on June 2020.
