The ECCP Intellectual Property Committee received presentations from key representatives from the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines at its meeting last 13 December. Deputy Director General Atty. Teodoro Pascua, Director for Trademarks Atty. Leny Raz, and Director for Patents Atty. Lolibeth Medrano talked about the trends and developments in the Philippine Intellectual Property (IP) system, as well as how IP regulations and violations affect businesses and the economy at large. Also present to discuss updates and developments in the field of innovation and copyrights from Engr. Amelou Lim and Atty. Louie Andrew Calvario.
