1What does the ECCP do?

The ECCP is a service-oriented organization whose main goal is to foster close economic ties and business relations between the Philippines and Europe. This is done through a wide range of business services provided, and by linkages created between companies, organizations, and individuals with existing or potential business interests in Europe and the Philippines. In addition, the ECCP also:

  • Helps members gain access to emerging business opportunities
  • Assists members in internationalizing their business
  • Offers members marketing opportunities
  • Alerts members on the latest business developments
  • Creates networking opportunities for members
  • Provides members with training opportunities
  • Builds a sustainable future for business
2How do I become a member of the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines?

To become a member of the ECCP, you need to go through five easy steps.

  • Identify which membership category you or your organization is eligible for
  • Fill out ECCP Membership Application form
  • Submit required documents in your online application
  • Settle your membership fee valid for a full year
  • Immediately receive full benefits valid for a full year

3How much does the membership cost?

4What are the benefits of becoming a member?

Becoming a member of the ECCP affiliates your company to the only chamber that represents all of Europe. Members also have priority invitations to events and activities of the chamber. Members are also listed in the Philippine-European Business Directory, and may also be featured in the EuroPH Connect Magazine. Moreover, members may avail of discounts on products and services of the ECCP and its subsidiaries.

5What are the different types of membership in the ECCP?

There are four types of membership in the ECCP, Corporate Partnership, Premium Membership, Regular Membership, and Associate Membership.

6How many members does the ECCP have?

ECCP currently has over 700 members from a wide variety of industries, in which they keep in touch with through a number of publications, newsletters, and circulars.

7What are the committees under the ECCP?

The ECCP offers the opportunity for its members to participate in sector-specific committees to deal with issues and developments affecting the business environment in the Philippines. The following sector includes Agriculture, Automotive, Aviation, Customs, Defense and Disaster Response, Education, Environment and Water, Food and Beverages, Healthcare, Human Capital, ICT-BPM-KPM, Infrastructure and Transportation, Innovations, Intellectual, Property Rights, Real Estate, Renewable and Energy Efficiency, Tax and Financial Services, Tourism, Women in Business, and Young Professionals

8How long has the ECCP been around?

The ECCP has been in existence for over 40 years. It was officially established on May 12, 1978.

9Can I attend ECCP events even if I’m not a member?

Yes, you may attend ECCP events as a non-member, however members are often given preferred rates and priority invitations and discounts which are not available to non-members.

10How do I attend virtual events?

ECCP uses ZOOM as the primary platform for virtual events, participants may register directly on the event’s page. A confirmation email will be sent to the registered email, and a unique link to access the webinar will be sent separately via ZOOM.

11What are the business services that the ECCP provides?

The ECCP provides a wide range of business services, ranging from client, supplier, distributor/agent, and partner matching, market intelligence and research, company pooling, and events management.

12How can the ECCP help me set up business operations in the Philippines?

14Does my company have to be European for me to join the ECCP?

No, your company does not need to be European for you to be able to join the ECCP.

15How can I join the Team ECCP Viber Community?

The Team ECCP Viber Community is an exclusive platform for ECCP members which aims to quickly give the latest updates and news surrounding the European - Philppine business community. If you are a member who is still not part of the Viber Community, please email info@eccp.com and kindly include your name, company, email address, and mobile number registered in Viber.
